On the day of the 20th presidential election on March 9, a voter casts a ballot at a polling station set up within the community center of Cheongunhyoja-dong neighborhood in Seoul's Jongno-gu District. The voter wore plastic gloves provided by the station to prevent the spread of COVID-19. As of 1 p.m., voter turnout including ballots submitted during early voting from March 4-5 reached a record-high 61.2%.
