The President Hosts Official Welcoming Ceremony for Sri Lankan President Sirisena
An official welcoming ceremony was held at Cheong Wa Dae this morning for Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena, who is making a state visit marking the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Korea and Sri Lanka.
President Moon and a welcoming delegation of children holding the national flags of the two countries were waiting in front of the main building of Cheong Wa Dae for the Sri Lanka President to arrive.
Upon his arrival, President Sirisena in a traditional Sri Lankan attire posed with President Moon and the delegation of children for a commemorative photo. After the playing of the national anthems, the two Presidents reviewed the honor guard on the grand lawn at Cheong Wa Dae.
