President Moon Jae-in will visit Japan June 27-29 to attend the G20 Summit, which will be held in Osaka June 28 and 29.

The agenda of the two-day G20 Summit will cover the global economy, trade and investment, the digital economy, inclusive and sustainable development, and counterterrorism. President Moon will highlight the necessity for international cooperation and policy coordination to help stabilize global financial systems and ease trade friction. In addition, he will explain the Korean Government’s policies to create an innovative, inclusive nation and bring peace to the Korean Peninsula.

Notably, President Moon is scheduled to sit down for one-on-one meetings with participating heads of state or government on the sidelines of the G20 Summit. So far, talks have been confirmed with the leaders from China, Russia, Canada and Indonesia. 

Meanwhile, President Moon is scheduled to attend a meeting with members of the Korean community in Japan in the evening of June 27, just after he arrives in Osaka.
