Thank you. Yesterday happened to be the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between our two countries, and I am very pleased to have an opportunity to hold talks with you, Prime Minister. Last June in Cornwall, we promised to upgrade our bilateral relations. I am looking forward to that promise being fulfilled soon.
Our two countries are joining the transition to a carbon-neutral society by strengthening cooperation in low-carbon areas and space development as well. In particular, I have high expectations for cooperation in the hydrogen economy. I hope our countries also firmly join hands in the areas of national infrastructure, defense and the defense industry.
I am always grateful for your unwavering support for peace on the Korean Peninsula. I hope we can jointly contribute to peace in the region and officially announce as soon as possible the upgrading of our bilateral relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership.
Thank you.
