Fellow Koreans,
Your hearts must have already arrived in your hometowns, haven’t they?
I can imagine how kind-hearted people will be on Lunar New Year’s Day, wishing each other well and pressing families and friends to have just one more helping of tteokguk.
Lunar New Year’s Day generates consideration for one another, and I hope it will allow us to connect as neighbors and to grow happier throughout this year.
Joyous holidays start with safety. I’d like to see the Government and the people work together, checking twice to look out for one another and making this time-honored holiday a safe and accident-free one.
Traffic accidents can be prevented. All of us will be able to spend this holiday with loved ones if we make sure that everyone buckles up first and suggest a break before drowsiness sets in
The Government will do its part with care so that the public can enjoy a safe and relaxing holiday.
I wish you a warm, cheerful Lunar New Year’s holiday.
Gamsahamnida!
