A collection of some of the major speeches made by President Moon Jae-in has been published in Korean and English.

According to Cheong Wa Dae on Aug. 17, the 90-page collection includes his inauguration address, his 62nd Memorial Day speech, a commemorative speech he made in honor of the June Democracy Movement of 1987, a speech from his visit to a memorial dedicated to the Jangjin Reservoir Battle (장진호 전투), and, lastly, the speech he made at the Körber Foundation in Germany. 

A total of 10,000 copies will be distributed to Korean diplomatic missions and Korean Cultural Centers around the world, as well as to the global network of King Sejong Institutes. 

“With the international spread of the Korean Hangeul alphabet, there’s been a rise in demand for other forms of textbooks designed for language classes at universities, King Sejong Institutes and Korean Cultural Centers,” Cheong Wa Dae said in a press release. “This collection of speeches can be a useful textbook for Korean language learners, as well as for individuals involved in policies related to Korea.”
