President Moon Jae-in welcomed five new foreign envoys to Seoul at a ceremony held at Cheong Wa Dae on July 18.
The president was presented with the credentials of each of the foreign diplomats. They were Mexican Ambassador Bruno Figueroa Fischer, Indonesian Ambassador Umar Hadi, Nepalese Ambassador Arjun Jung Bahadur Singh, Uzbekistani Ambassador Vitaly Fen and Pakistani Ambassador Rahim Hayat Qureshi.
Congratulating the newly appointed foreign envoys, the president said, "I ask that you act as a bridge between Korea and your respective countries so as to strengthen our relationships and to deepen our trust."
