A telephone hotline between the leaders of the two Koreas will be open on Friday, April 20, 2018. A test call will be conducted between working-level officials of the two sides. The hotline will connect Cheong Wa Dae in Seoul and the State Affairs Commission in Pyeongyang. When the two leaders will speak with each other through the hotline has yet to be determined.
There was also discussion about Peace House where the Inter-Korean Summit will be held. The remodeling work at Peace House, which started on March 6, will be completed tomorrow. The follow-up preparations will be made, including the placement of electronic devices, fine artworks, furniture, potted plants, a red carpet in the lobby and flower arrangements.
