At the invitation of President Moon Jae-in, U.S. President Donald Trump will make a visit to Korea in conjunction with his participation in the G20 Summit slated for late June in Japan. The detailed schedule will be further discussed through diplomatic channels. 

The forthcoming Republic of Korea-United States summit will be held approximately two months after the April 11 summit in Washington, D.C. It will be the eighth ROK-U.S. summit since President Moon took office.

At the summit, the two Presidents are expected to discuss how to bolster the ROK-U.S. alliance and establish a permanent peace regime through complete denuclearization on the Korean Peninsula, building on the foundation of close coordination between the two countries.
