The photo exhibition “Spring, Once Again” (다시 봄, 문재인 정부 취임 1주년 기록사진전), which marks the first anniversary of the Moon Jae-in administration, opened at Cheong Wa Dae on May 4.
The 50 photos and videos across four themes show the Moon administration’s policies and progress made during the first year.
In the first section, “Peace, a New Start” (평화, 새로운 시작), major scenes from the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic and Paralypmic Winter Games and the 2018 Inter-Korean Summit are on display. The section “A country worthy of being called a nation, a just country, first anniversary” (나라답게 정의롭게, 취임 1주년) has pictures and videos that captures some of the major moments of the Moon administration’s new policies and messages.
Another section, “#with_the_president, #President_I_took” (#대통령과 함께, #내가 찍은 대통령) consists of photos of the president taken by the general public.
The last section, “Decisive Moment” (결정적 순간), has pictures of toy bricks and figurines depicting the critical moments of the administration, such as the Inter-Korean Summit and the joint press conference held with the U.S. president.
Previously in April, Cheong Wa Dae ran a photo contest on its website.
“I can still vividly remember the very scene of the two leaders shaking hands, announcing the Panmunjeom Declaration, and their embrace afterward,” said Presidential Senior Secretary for Public Relations Yoon Young-chan who visited the opening ceremony of the exhibition on May 4.
The exhibition will be open on the second floor of the Sarangchae exhibition hall at Cheong Wa Dae until June 3.
