Korea-Germany Summit (February 2018)
President Moon Jae-in met with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier at Cheong Wa Dae on Feb. 8.
President Moon said, “As Germany successfully overcame its division, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier’s visit to Korea holds significance amid a time of high hopes for improvement in inter-Korean relations and for the ‘Peace Olympics,' backed by the participation of North Korean athletes.”
President Steinmeier said he will always support President Moon’s endeavors toward making the Korean Peninsula a peaceful region, while highlighting the importance of humanitarian exchanges, such as meetings between separated families and visits among the peoples of the two Koreas.

Korea-Poland Summit (February 2018)
In the meeting with Polish President Andrzej Duda at Cheong Wa Dae on Feb. 8, President Moon Jae-in underlined the importance of peace on the Korean Peninsula.
President Moon thanked the country for actively supporting Seoul’s North Korean policy by issuing a statement that welcomed the resumption of South-North Korean dialogue.

Korea-Lithuania Summit (February 2018)
President Moon Jae-in held a meeting with his Lithuanian counterpart, President Dalia Grybauskaite, at Cheong Wa Dae on Feb. 7 to talk about strengthening ties and cooperation on the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games and on North Korea policies.
President Moon expressed gratitude for the visit of the leaders from the three Baltic nations --Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia -- who are here for the PyeongChang Winter Games, and said, “The visits and the three summits with the three countries will become a critical turning point for the relationship between Korea and the Baltic nations.”

Korea-Estonia Summit (February 2018)
President Moon Jae-in held a meeting with President Kersti Kaljulaid of Estonia who is on a visit to Korea to attend the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. The two discussed cooperation between Seoul and Tallinn on the Olympics and on North Korean issues.
The two leaders also emphasized strengthening ties in the digital sector.

Korea-China Summit (December 2017)
President Moon Jae-in held a summit with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, on Dec. 14 in Beijing. The two leaders had an in-depth discussion about ways to expand areas of mutual cooperation and how to normalize bilateral ties, as well as about issues related to the Korean Peninsula. The two presidents agreed on a new set of four principles aimed at securing peace and security on the peninsula.

Korea-Sri Lanka Summit (November 2017)
President Moon Jae-in and Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena held summit talks in Seoul and affirmed their will to bolster bilateral cooperation in a substantial manner, at Cheong Wa Dae on Nov. 29. President Sirisena paid a state visit to Korea to mark the mark the 40th anniversary of the establishment of Seoul-Colombo diplomatic ties.
President Moon told the Sri Lankan leader that, "I believe our two countries can become wonderful partners in Korea's New Southern Policy that seeks prosperity and peace in southeastern and southwestern regions, beyond the Korean Peninsula and Northeast Asia."
Korea-Uzbekistan Summit (November 2017)
President Moon Jae-in and Uzbekistani President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held summit talks at Cheong Wa Dae in Seoul on Nov. 23. The two leaders agreed to upgrade the existing strategic partnership between the two countries. The presidents signed a joint declaration designed to comprehensively deepen the strategic partnership between Seoul and Tashkent.
Korea-Philippine Summit (November 2017)
President Moon Jae-in held a summit meeting with Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte on Nov. 13 at the Philippine International Convention Center in Manila. The two leaders agreed to make concerted efforts to further develop bilateral ties.
President Moon said, "the Philippines is the first country with which Korea built a diplomatic relationship, and it has been our ally with which we have shared a special relationship, as it was the first Asian country to send troops during the Korean War."
Korea-China Summit (November 2017)
President Moon Jae-in held a summit meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Nov. 11.
President Moon said, “I’m glad that we have agreed to normalize exchanges and cooperation in the near future in all areas between our two countries through negotiations between the foreign authorities in Seoul and Beijing.”
The two heads of state officially expressed their will to normalize the bilateral relationship at the summit that took place on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit Meeting.
Korea-Vietnam Summit (November 2017)
President Moon Jae-in held a summit meeting with Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang in Da Nang, Vietnam, on Nov. 11. The two heads of state agreed to develop the strategic partnership that currently exists between the two countries.
President Moon said, “Over the past 25 years, since the establishment of diplomatic ties, Vietnam has become Korea’s fourth largest trade partner and Korea has become Vietnam’s third largest trade partner and its largest investor.”
